Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the quote form, call, or email us, we collect what you provide:

• Company name, property type, property address, city, and ZIP code
• Your name, email address, phone number, and preferred time to be contacted
• The services you are interested in and anything you write in the free-text fields
• The contents of any call, email, or text conversation with us

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, timestamps, and the referring page. We use these logs to keep the Site secure and running. The Site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.

Sensitive information. We do not ask for government identifiers, financial account numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information. Please do not include it in the form.

How we use information

• To respond to your quote request, schedule a site walk, and prepare a proposal
• To communicate with you about services, scheduling, and your account, by phone, email, or text message where you have agreed to it
• To keep business records, including records of consent
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Site
• To comply with legal obligations and to protect against fraud, abuse, and misuse of the Site

Contact consent and text messages

When you tick the consent box on the quote form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email, or text message at the number and email you provided about your request, including by automated means. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send, or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of communications sent before you withdrew it.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run the business:

• Service providers that act on our behalf, such as the email delivery provider that sends quote notifications and the company that hosts the Site. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
• Professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, and attorneys, where necessary
• Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety
• A successor business in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months.

How long we keep information

We keep quote requests and related correspondence for as long as needed to evaluate and respond to the request, for the duration of any client relationship that results, and afterwards for as long as required to maintain business records and meet legal obligations. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its retention settings.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and with whom we shared it
• Access a copy of that information
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction or meeting a legal obligation
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it)
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it)
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

We will need to verify your identity, usually by matching the details you provide to the information in our records. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf if the agent provides proof of authorization. We will respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days.

Categories of personal information

For purposes of the CCPA, in the preceding twelve months we have collected the following categories of personal information, in each case from you directly or from your device, for the business purposes described above:

• Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, company name, IP address
• Commercial information: services requested and details of properties to be serviced
• Internet or network activity: pages requested and browser information from server logs
• Professional information: your role and employer, where you provide it

Children

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and quote requests are transmitted to us through an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Links to other sites

The Site may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
